ANNUAL & 5-YEAR SERVICES
Internaftiki offers annual and 5-year periodic services and tests on Lifeboats, rescue boats, release gears and launching appliance systems, in compliance with the international requirements of the latest SOLAS III, REG 20.11.
The company’s service department consists of qualified service engineers capable of undertaking any service and repair job on world wide basis. Since 2006 where MSC 1206 came into force, Internaftiki has successfully completed services on safety equipment on more than 5000 vessels. The company’s excellent service station not only undertakes repairs onsite but can outsource its service engineers on a worldwide proportion.

The management of Internaftiki holds an experience of 32 years in production of lifeboats, launching appliance and release gears and can be considered as specialists in that filed. Founders and owners of Watercraft Hellas sa and Viking Hellas ltd (manufacturers of lifeboats, davits and release gear since 1974), there is a valuable and esteemed knowledge which was gained throughout these years which is necessary for the execution of such services.
Today, the highly regarded personnel work for Internaftiki, is capable of undertaking any service, repair and convention requirement for all types of lifeboats, davits and release mechanisms.

Internaftiki is authorised to perform such services for all other makers under the flag approval procedures. The company is accepted by all major Administrations such as , Panama, Liberia, Malta, Bahama, Isle of Man, Swiss etc.

The highly regarded equipment owned by the company and used in conjunction with these services, has been approved and is currently used to guarantee practical, safe and modernised methods in the service they have been appointed to.
Special load testing equipment, such as Waterbags from 395 kg to 30tons as well as load cells, hydraulic jacks etc, are used by Internaftiki to carry out any required load tests including lifeboats - davits - cranes and derricks.

The service station is situated near Piraeus Port in order to provide a quick and immediate response upon customer’s demands. Extended workshop facilities provide machinery repairs and services on various machineries and parts.
A wide range of genuine and OEM spare parts are always available in our warehouse for immediate replacement.
- Lifeboat GRP Repairs. GRP repairs can also be done by our specialist GRP technicians either onsite for extensive repairs and on board for small repair jobs.
- Hydraulic Repairs. Pumps, Valves, Actuators, Cylinders, Accumulators, Power packs. Test benches are also available for various pressure tests before delivery and installation on board.
- Electronic Repairs. Limit switches, Motors, Panels, Wiring, PLC systems
